is this why when i change items in sql like keira that it doenst show the stats in the client of an item?

DBC files are seperate from the DB, the DB has mirrors of the DBC file structure, but they're mostly just used for overriding what's in the DBC files. The vast majority of changes to DBCs (note: only the `_dbc` tables in the DB) also require changes to the DBC files for the client
