Quote: I sure loved trying to figure this all out on my own xD Sure it was a pain, but it actually did come through at the end, once I figured out how to get the basic reskins to work. I thought all had been for naught for a while there, before I realized...I put the treepath in the wrong file. So I tried it again, and...

This reskin goes over the basic cougar/lion skin, like what you see in Barrens or Mulgore. I put it on a basic treepath so I'd be able to find the skin in-gam easier xD

Now all I need to do is figure out how to put this cougar model into the tauren druid file so I don't get that dumb horned cat, edit this up a tad so it looks more clean, and I'll have this for a cat form [Image: biggrin.png] Of course, easier said than done...I'll figure it out somehow.

Quote: Nice reskin, I like the markings.

Yeah I know what you mean about figuring it out by yourself. I actually did the same just switched the cat form for the northrend worgen model.

If you wanna make this model your cat form there are 2 ways to do it as far as I know. One way involves switching the model codes using DBC editor which could be complicated. Or you could do it the simpler way, which is actually more basic. Locate the Taurendruidcatform (I think that's what it's called) folder and copy down all the names of the files in it. Then, locate the cat folder and extract those files. Rename them to the druid form file names such as: (Cat.M2 -> taurencatform.M2) and so on and so forth. Use the correct treepath, save it as a patch (patch-x.MPQ) and you're good to go.

I followed your instructions, and had to make the MPQ twice. The first time, it kept kicking me off whenever I logged in. Now, when I login, and am in cat form, I get 'locked' to the game: I can't move the screen, my chara turns invisible (the cat won't show up) and am unable to even look around or anything until I morph back out. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? (I greatly appreciate the help, by the way ^.^)
