How can I send a gift pet as an mail to all players? Or for new players directly as a gift in the mail.

I just today discovered the server mail feature. It's built in, there's a table called mail_server_template or something like that. Set a mail at level 1 would do what you want.

It seems to send to anyone logging in who hasn't got it who meets the criteria, so it applies to both new and old players.
