should be fine, it protects your domain and filters traffic, not specifically HTTP

I would always run something locally anyway though, the idea of running exposed ports with nothing but a basic firewall is a bit sketchy

I just use crowdsec, modsec, nginx as a reverse proxy in docker containers, and properly configured firewall rules on router. Is more than enough for a home server if setup correctly, probably better than most businesses are running
