hey everyone, Id like to make changes to how talents are handled in Azerothcore. I want to make an option in the config that increases the maximum available talents (other than the currently clumsy option for talent points rate). Should I make a pull request for the main branch, or make a module to be added if needed?

I don't think it can be changed within a module alone, no. The core "enforces" the number of talents based on your level and the way it does it is not exposed.
