Helmet Issues Read this first:
Currently the helmet is only working for Blood Elf Males. In the coming days I will also make the helmet available for the following races:
EDIT: Since it seems like absolutely nobody cares about this model edit, I won't be updating the MPQ to include more races.
Armor Replacement
Most of the pieces replace the Valorous Tier 8 Death Knight Armor, that's the version you get from 10 man Ulduar. I'll go through each piece individually.
Use Glitchy's Model Swapperto replace each piece of gear with the following items:
IF THESE ITEMS ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR MODEL SWAPPER, GO TO SETTINGS> UPDATE ITEMS AND/OR SETTINGS>UPDATE ITEMS FROM CATCHE. Doing this may take a while.
Head: Valorous Darkruned Faceguard
Shoulders: Valorous Darkruned Pauldrons
Chest: Valorous Darkruned Chestguard
Gloves: Valorous Darkruned Handguards
Legs: Valorous Darkruned Legguards
Belt: Girdle of Embers
Boots: Bladed Steelboots
Cape: Gale-proof cloak
Weapon: Inevitable Defeat
Download Link: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?gngnmwmomly
The zip file contains two patches. patch-z contains the textures and patch-x contains the custom models. Just put them both into your Program Files/World of Warcraft/Data folder.
Works for 3.1 and does NOT require the MEfix.
IMPORTANT! IF YOU ARE USING A RACE CHANGE MODEL EDIT THE HELM WILL NOT WORK UNLESS YOU PERFORM A HELMFIX ON PATCH-X.MPQ!
To perform a helmfix, you’ll need glitchy’s MES which can be obtained here: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...mes-3-0-a.html
When you are done installing Glitchy’s MES, click the ‘MPQ Viewer’ Icon in the top left corner. When the MPQ Viewer window pops up, select “MPQ” > “Edit MPQ File” from the dropdown menu. Now navigate to patch-x.MPQ.
Now that you are inside the MPQ, navigate to
ITEM\OBJECTCOMPONENTS\HEAD\Helm_Plate_RaidDeathKnight_G_01_BeM.M2
See where it says BeM at the end of the .M2 file? This what race the helm is being applied to.
You will rename this file to whatever race you are changing to. For example, if you are a human male model changing into a blood elf male, you must change BeM to HuM so then the resulting treepath will be:
To rename a file, go to MPQ>Rename File in the dropdown menu.
ITEM\OBJECTCOMPONENTS\HEAD\Helm_Plate_RaidDeathKnight_G_01_HuM.M2
Another example: If You are a Night Elf male then you must change BeM to NiM. I will list the other race identifier codes below.
NOTE THAT THE RACE IDENTIFIERS ARE CASE SENSITIVE!
Race identifiers for other races
BeM -> Blood Elf Male, BeF -> Blood Elf Female
DrM -> Draenei Male, DrF -> Draenei Female
DwM -> Dwarf Male, DwF -> Dwarf Female
GnM -> Gnome Male, GnF -> Gnome Female
HuM -> Human Male, HuF -> Human Female
NiM -> Night Elf Male, NiF -> Night Elf Female
OrM -> Orc Male, OrF -> Orc Female
ScM -> Undead Male, ScF -> Undead Female
TaM -> Tauren Male, TaF -> Tauren Female
TrM -> Troll Male, TrF -> Troll Female
(credit goes to schlumpf for this list.)

Please elaborate, is it invisible? Is it not swapping? Are you using a race change model edit? Are you able or willing to upload a screenshot?

Quote: There's your problem. I'll post a small guide on how to fix that shortly.
You're gonna have to rename your Helm_Plate_RaidDeathKnight_G_01_BeM.M2 to Helm_Plate_RaidDeathKnight_G_01_HuM.M2 in the patch-x.MPQ file(Or in other words, perform a helmfix). If you know how to do that, then that's what you need to do. If you don't know how to do that, just wait until I post the guide. Shouldn't take too long.
EDIT: Posted the guide in the original post.
