Quote: How barskin should look on a kittie:

Appart from a few things coppied from the original cat(bracers, nails and mouth) this is made from scratch. The markings on the head are after the markings from my caracter(butterfly, if im not mistaken), rather then the catmarkings.

As you may see, there are two problems with this idea though. The first is that I dont know how to make the manes transparent.

The second is that if you do this live, every time you cast barkskin you'll go into a catform. I don't know how I would have to change this. Untill then its more a pretty image then anything else [Image: frown.gif].

I thought some might find this intresting. How to perform surgery on a kitty:

Quote: Looks nice, add more more tonal variation and grain to the wood(and learn to alpha channel!) and you might be onto a winner there.

Quote: I've learned to alpha! It went wrong when I saved the file in photoshop... Thanks for the tip, otherwise I wouldn't have checked it again. I'll keep working on it, improve it here and there.

Quote: What I usually have to do is keep the image with transparency or an alpha channel in PS, save it as a regular PSD, then open it in GIMP, save it as a png with the 'retain transparent pixel colour values' option checked, and convert that to blp. My copy of BLPConverter might be a bit old though, if you can convert an RGBA TGA>BLP you should be golden.

Quote: I found a plugin, SUPERPNG, that allowed me to save it with the alpha layers. I'll release after I have taken another look at the "hair", I want a bit more variation in collor there. I also use blp converter. The format is RGBA PNG's.
