I know that alot of people are complaining about the Core Hound Pup's recent change. Recently the cute lil' pup got much more vocal, very much to the dismay of it's owners. This cute reward is now a punishment.
There are many other sounds in World of Warcraft, thousands of them, and there are bound to be some that people find annoying. Because of this, I'm gonna be taking requests from people who want certain sounds removed
These are NOT installed in the "Interface\Addons" folder like an addon. These are not addons.
All you have to do is extract the folder into your "World of Warcraft\Sound" folder. If the folder is not there, simply create a new one.
Your folder structure should be like so:
World of Warcraft\Sound\Creature\CoreHoundPet
with 3 files inside, CoreHoundPup_Clickable_01.wav, CoreHoundPup_Clickable_02.wav, CoreHoundPup_Clickable_02.wav (this is for the CoreHound Pup only, but the others are very similar in folder structure)

Yeah it's really super easy to figure out. Make a few blank WAV files, find the sound you wanna block using MpqViewer and copy the folder structure. I'm gonna add Lil' XT as well as soon as I can find the sound in the MPQs

Yes but that disables EVERYTHING, this allows you to disable specific sounds while leaving the ones that you like ---> FTW

Yes but that disables EVERYTHING, this allows you to disable specific sounds while leaving the ones that you like ---> FTW
