Does anyone know the major/minor updates with this warden and are we safe on private servers? :c

They can easily make it so that WoW no longer loads custom MPQ files, which is what they are doing in the cataclym beta, and *possibly* when cataclysm is released, although nobody is sure of that.
So long as you don't use it to exploit, like changing saronite veins to, say, ragnaros, then they will not ban you.
Stop scaring people. Simple Model Edits are safe.
