In order for both to work, you must use the combined MPQ, you can't download the 2 individual ones and use both of them.

Update: I've now created an MPQ that swaps the spell effect of Beserking enchant (turns you red) to that of Mongoose.
Berserking Spell Effect -> Mongoose Spell Effect:

Try deleting your cache and letting WoW rebuild it.
