Mine looks like this:
common.MPQ
common2.MPQ
expansion.MPQ
lichking.MPQ
patch.MPQ
patch-2.MPQ
patch-3.MPQ
now if i wanted another model edit i would have too add patch-4.MPQ and if i wanted one more i should be called patch-5.MPQ

I wouldn't suggest using numbers, it's limited to 6 (4-9). patch-3 is used by Blizzard. Instead, use letters. Anything unused between a-z works fine.

anything between A-Z can replace S aswell =)
