This sounds a bit like im defending him cause i am. The MMowned forum rules say you MAY edit your posts. So he had every right to take down the download link whenever he wants and take down any information whenever he wants. Theres not a thing anyone can say to make him put it back up.
Had the same situation with my water. Eventually reported a few moderators to the admins and with a bit of luck, got a few moderators off my back since they gave me unlawful threats to ban me if I didn't put the water thread back up.
