[Archive] [4.3.3] Various Model Swaps
Quote: I have finally gotten bored of not being able to use the appearance that I want, so its time to start up the model swaps again.
First things first, none of this would be possible without VX2's sig patcher, which is required in order for WoW to accept modified files.
To get my Model Swaps to work, you will need to first patch your WoW Client using VX2's tool available from:
http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...n-remover.html
As said in VX2's post "I strongly recommend you, do not use modified client for official servers."
Once you have patched your wow client, you are ready to install your preferred model swap.
DBC Edits now need to be placed in the locale folder inside the Data folder
ie: C:\Games\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS\
I have labelled my model swaps to be 1 release number under the current at the time of release, though I believe this shouldn't matter once you have used VX2's sig patcher. The green text before each swap is the current wow release version when the edit was completed.
I will be doing requests, but please allow some time for me to complete them, remember I do this in my spare time.
Dragon Soul Raid Items
4.3.3 15354 - Experimental Specimen Slicer (LFR/Norm/Heroic) -> Shadowmourne

Quote: Oooh. What utility are you using to edit 4.3.3 DBC files? I've been looking to make dbc edits for awhile but the old DBC Editor I have doesn't work with Cataclysm.

Quote: Hey man this is awesome. Can you make Cataclysmic Shanker and Shiv -> Warglaives
And Night Elf Female -> Blood Elf Female?

Quote: If you eventually do make some race swaps for 4.3.3, can you do Troll Female -> Draenei female?
All the ones on here now are made for 3.3.5. If not, then it's cool.
