My high elf mage is by far the coolest character I have. I have read plenty of threads over the years by people who just wanted to be able to do this. This is my gift to you.
This time the patch does not change the elekk mounts. But I have solved the hood issue. The draenei npcs no longer look like blue skinned elves. I had nothing to do with it. Apparently the way npc skins work have been changed.
Same as always you need to use safety measures. http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...n-remover.html

Remember to put the file in this directory WorldofWarcraft\Data\enGB\
Also if you really want that perfect outfit for your elf but don't have or can't get that transmog gear I recommend learning how to hex edit. If you ask nicely on this thread I might make a short guide.

I use this program to extract the files. MPQ Archives - Downloads
Remember to check the file sizes before you upload them. The files are posted in many mpq's and only one of them is the right one (the biggest). Check the newest mpq's first.

To do it you need to change the names of the .blp files to match the right number and order of blood elf .blp files but only do this on the blp files that involve the eyes. Just delete everything else. And to make the illusion complete you should also change the race name in the ChrRaces.dbc.
With Humans you would also need to match the blp files to the human ones. Plus you would need to change all the dbc files in the patch and rename the sound files to match also.
Both of these are quite time consuming to do especially if you aren't familiar with making race swap patches.
I recommend using blizzards race change service (or faction change). I know it is a bit exspensive but trust me. It is worth it.
