however it never works.
I think the character textures are in patch-Q.mpq file.

Quote: Just make a new patch with all the swaps you want and name it the next Alphabet letter of the current patches you have like if your last one is name Q name yours R.
Also note that if they use the HD races you will either have to remove that patch or else swap with the Hd races meaning that you will need to do it yourself not download a ready made patch.

Hello, Im trying to do it, swap Night elves to Blood elves with the HD texture pack but the ears loads with withe textures, i spent hours but no fix. Do you know what to do?
