Which patch do you want to create a WoW Server off? [Image: 1f642.png]

No problems!

Well the client version, for example if you want to build up a Wrath of the Lich King server, or Cataclysm server, it depends because it's all different [Image: 1f642.png]

Hope I cleared it out futher for you.

Sounds good.

There's a guide which is already made here: http://collab.kpsn.org/display/tc/How-to_Linux Core is TrinityCore, if you get into any issues feel free to post a new thread in support section or post it in here.

I do not have linux experience, but maybe I can help you out anyways if you are stucked at one specefic step.

World of Warcraft is a vastly popular online computer game played by millions of people around the world. While the majority of game servers are maintained by the game's creators, Blizzard, a group of people have designed a server program of their own, named Trinity Core. This guide will walk you through the steps necessary to compile and update your very own private WoW server.

This guide often uses the terminal for configuring and installing. If you are unaware of how to use the terminal, locate a bash guide or search for a how-to here on wikiHow. Terminal commands will be highlighted in italics. Bold text is information that must be supplied by you.

http://www.wikihow.com/Build-and-Maintai...r-on-Linux has all the steps for you to build one.

There are also many other good sites that will help you build one. Good luck in doing so! I've never had the time, courage or brain to be able to do this! It would be fun however!
