It takes a few minutes before the system notices it.
Yes it's a different kind of method, Northstrider but would say it would be worth trying as we had a lot of anonymous downloads as well as low amount of posts.

I think its actually rather a good idea to promote activity on the forums.

While I agree that this increases forum activity - I don't like it as well.
Actually, I'm writing this mainly because I want 5 posts to download stuff - and looking around I see a tremendous amount of 5 post accounts.

Dear members. I see your point(s) regarding the new requirement.
I wanted to have it on a testing mode for a little BECAUSE of the amount of leechers who did just download the repack, even without showing appereciation.
I wanted to somehow try to solve that issue.
The requirement might get changed , and a new, better and more fair requirement will be found.
