OK, not sure what I did wrong here.

I downloaded and extracted the _server folder and also the release folder.

I downloaded and extracted all of the DBC, maps, mmaps, and vmaps and put them in the release folder.

I started up mysql.bat and that works fine.

I go to the release folder and click to run the authserver.exe and I got a missing dll error (ssleay32.dll).

I copied the dll file over from my V6 to the release folder and tried to run the authserver exe again. Now I get a message: The ordinal 4684 could not be located in the dynamic link library c:\(path to server folder)\SSLEAY32.dll.

The release download did not have the dll file in it so maybe the one from V6 is not compatible?

Do I maybe need to download it from V7?

Thanks for any help/support. I appreciate it.

As Artamedes said, it should be related to OpenSSL. Install the OpenSSL and try again, and perhaps even swap the ssleay32.dll into your server folder if necessary. [Image: 1f642.png]

I installed the "required software" earlier. I just reinstalled openssl from Artamedes link, looks like a newer version, going to restart PC to see if that helps and try again. Frustrated, LOL! I must be trying too hard

-Update: After reinstalling the OpenSSL with the newer version (the required software.rar file had an older version in it) and restarting the PC, I am good to go.

Thanks for the support.
