Yeah, the Item has a Spell on it. Find it and edit it in Spell.dbc ^^

If it helps, you can just .learn basic riding skill and a mount's spell id with a macro when you start a new character. I set up a macro to hit once on all my new toons: it adds wisp spirit racial from night elves, best deals anywhere racial from goblins, apprentice riding skill & passive, and the Exarch's Elekk mount b/c it's pretty and makes 1-20 much smoother!
